Big wedding are great if that is who you are.

They were not.

They were this beautiful, intimate, low key and honest celebration.

And I got to capture it. How lucky am I?!

Marinda and Bruce | Maternity Portraits | Bump at the Beach

Marinda and Bruce have been friends of ours for years, we've shared styled shoots, game nights and clients (Marinda also happens to be a hair and makeup wizard.) Basically, they're awesome and we love them.

Well about a year ago, while she was working her magic on my maine, Marinda and I started talking about how we were both trying to grow our family - fast forward a few months and we told each other we were expecting... ON THE SAME DATE. Yup, both our babies were due in late October. I really had tons of fun shooting this maternity session because I was right there with her, ya know? So have a gander at the rest of these beauties and enjoy.

Jule comes from a family of Beautiful women with awesome husbands and lovely weddings. 

We had the pleasure of capturing her sisters Engagement/Wedding moments. So, when Julie contacted us we were so happy to be working with her and her family again. 

Seal Beach was the perfect location that morning. It was foggy practically empty. . .

Beachy goodness with a fabulous couple makes for good times.

Oh, this so my favorite. 

No, we didn't grab a starfish from the ocean.
There was a box with shells, and anemones and starfish at the beginning of the beach walk.

Love love love this one too. (and that awesome rock.)

Suit case and bunting for cards.

Block table top decor to match their "aisle" 

I LOVE this back drop to their main table. 

lights and a paper chandelier. 

Instead of a sign in book, a snow board! 

flavored water, with chalk board block signs.

Place cards were attached to chalk board mugs with everyones name!

Since the ceremony was held at the bottom of a large hill and climbing back up was somewhat taxing, they set up a special bench, with homemade pillows,  overlooking the beach for their grandparents.

Menu for the evening was framed and placed in the center of each table.

Every mini sign in book had a different question on the cover.

Center pieces: reclaimed beach wood.
