We are well into our second trimester and our little baby boy is growing nicely!
I had the privilege of receiving my first Mother's Day presents from Blake… a beautiful Mother's necklace created by Eclectic Wendy Designs on Etsy.
I knew I wanted something with Blake and I at the base and that I could add to as our family continued to grow. Wendy did a fabulous job deciphering my vague descriptions into a beautiful necklace.
Wendy so talented, isn't she? The Main disk says "P+B" with our wedding date around the bottom. There is a smaller disk with our baby's name engraved on it. When we have more children, we can simply add more small disks. I love it!
So, what is our little one's name? Ready for it? Here it is!
Yup, our little boy will be named Kaleb.
Kaleb Eugene (after my father and grandfather) Green
Notice we're spelling Kaleb with a "K"… Blake thought of that, now it contains the same letters as Blake! Go ahead, check… see! I love it and Blake's giddy about it, so its set in stone… or set in metal.

For part two of the M+V Engagement Extravaganza we changed wardrobe and went for more of a classic theme.
But of course, with these two, it was still light, fun and had lots of laughs (and lovely love.)
What is it about the Green men that make them look so handsome in hats?
(yes, that was plug for how handsome my husband is. :D)
LOVE this one. They're gonna have such a great marriage, they crack each other up!
Ok, so Melissa got stuck in a tree and as Vance was helping her down, her dress became… um… slightly immodest, hahaha.
Fortunately, Vance didn't see a thing, but it was hilarious, none the less.
Next two are my absolute favorites! So very lovely.

I love my family.
And I adored shooting Melissa and Vance's engagement session! We decided to go for a "two-parter-wardrobe-and-theme-change" kind of session.
Yeah. It was amazing.
These two are so fantastically fun, I can't even explain.
Vance & Melissa.
She had a little strawberry on her face...
He helped her out. :D
Gorgeousness? Um, YEAH!
I love this shot. They thought I was checking the light… but I captured the cuddles.
Oh honest love, how I adore thee!
Get your sexy on!
And this tasty little treat was all Melissa.
Vance, you are one LUCKY man!

Blake's brother, Vance recently made the best decision of his life: asking his amazingly darling girlfriend, Melissa, to be his bride!
We are so thankful we were there to capture the entire event as Melissa was rushing to baggage claim at LAX to meet Vance and visit us here in California.
Vance wrote Melissa a little poem, and slipped it to her after their first embrace.
She, of course, cried and said "Yes".
Blake and I weren't the only happy family there to witness the proposal.
SO VERY HAPPY for them!
Melissa, I cannot wait to call you "sister"!
We also made a little "duo film" of the proposal…

Paige + Blake + Buster Portraits with Kara Rush

In Mid-December we took some time and hung out with our friend and colleague, Kara Rush. She is an uber-talented photographer and an awesome-tastic lady.

We are so grateful for these last images. Anyone who knows our Buster, knows he loved to run and play. And no matter how hard we tried to block up his "escape" routes to the front yard he just kept digging under the fence to play out there. He liked getting out, but he loved being with us as much as we loved being with him. On January 3rd, he dug out again and was hit by a car. Kara found out from one of our neighbors and called us. We found him and rushed to the vet, but he was gone by the time we got there. We were able to hold him in the car, call his name and he looked up one last time to see his friends. It was a horrible day, but we have been truly touched by the outpouring of love from family and friends. He was more than just a family pet. If you follow us on twitter or on facebook, you'll know he's our friend, Paige's shadow and my buddy.

This video was shot about 4 months ago. I was playing with Blake's new camera. Its the best video we have of Buster. I can't get over what an incredibly awesome, adorable, and loving puppy he was... I miss you, my little love.
