Mattie Senior 2010: Orange County Senior Portraits

Mattie was our very first 2010 rep and our very first senior session for her graduating class!
We could not have kicked it off with anyone more fun or beautiful. Mattie is not only lovely, but also one of the most awesome girls I have ever met. Mattie loves the beach and its atmosphere, so we met in Crystal Cove near the Ruby's shake shack where the stretch of beach and old "beachy" buildings are plentiful. While we shot we talked about school and her plans for next year. Let me tell ya; this girl has a fantastic head on her shoulders! Apart from academics; she is also involved in sports and student council. But what truly makes her shine is the overwhelming love she has for her mother. Its more than touching to hear the way Mattie talks about her mom (and her dad and sister too, for that matter). She's truly full of love and it clearly shows.

Oh, and she rocked our lens. . .

The waves caught her a little off guard, but I think she dug it.

… Mattie did.

I don’t even remember what Blake was saying, but he kept making her laugh. I knew I kept him around from areason.

Parker + Sara: LDS Newport Beach Temple Wedding Photographer

Remember Parker and Sara? These two are an amazing couple whose love is ridiculously tangible and touched every heart at their wedding. They were sealed in the LDS Newport Beach Temple on July 3, which was a beautiful day! Their family was there to support them and their Bridal party rocked the casbah. The reception was held at Dove Canyon Courtyard, who took care of the event beautifully! Right before the reception, they had a very touching ring ceremony where they expressed their love for each other and I, of course, cried like a little girl. . . I love weddings. Just look at theirs:

The Matheson Family: Orange County family portrait photographer

You might remember the beautiful Matheson family from their portraits last year (on our old blog) or from our portrait site (their image if the first one on the slideshow). Well another year has past and if possible, they have become even more adorable and lovely! I absolutely love working with these children. They are honest and oh so natural (except for maybe Eden, who loves to strike a pose.) And, of course, Mom and Dad are easy to guide and amazing with their kiddles.

I truly love the interaction and connection you see with parents and their small children, and its even more satisfying when I can capture it for them!
