Jenny and I were friends in high school (we were both in Play Pro, and she let me help her make our senior video... it was awesome). She is now Magic Cat Jenny and has a pretty cool blog and YouTube channel. She also chose a pretty cool dude to wed - Jim from the Long Holidays.

Brett is a good ol' boy. Growing up with Blake's youngest brother and always cracking jokes, making people smile. When we found out he was engaged to be married (in the Temple Blake and I were sealed in, no less!) we were so happy for him. His lovely wife, Chelsea, is such a stunning example of a lady and her whole style was rocking this wedding. Enjoy the DIY eye candy and the minty gold goodness.

This was supposed to be a meet and greet, but turned into a full fledged engagement session. I'd say due to the adorableness of the couple and pure chemistry (with a dash of Grand Californian of course)

Marinda and Bruce | Maternity Portraits | Bump at the Beach

Marinda and Bruce have been friends of ours for years, we've shared styled shoots, game nights and clients (Marinda also happens to be a hair and makeup wizard.) Basically, they're awesome and we love them.

Well about a year ago, while she was working her magic on my maine, Marinda and I started talking about how we were both trying to grow our family - fast forward a few months and we told each other we were expecting... ON THE SAME DATE. Yup, both our babies were due in late October. I really had tons of fun shooting this maternity session because I was right there with her, ya know? When they exchanged gifts, I was left in tears.

The first look left me in tears.

Their friends who spoke during the ceremony had me in tears.

And their first dance left me smiling... but in tears. 

This was SUCH a beautiful wedding and so completely focused on Tanya and Justin's enduring relationship and love for one another.

Eric and Emily were Sealed and had their reception in the Kansas City, Missouri Temple. Then, on a later day, they had a second reception in Orange County - thats where we came in. 

It was the first time we shot just the reception, but it was super fast and lots of fun.

Oh yeah, Emily has a diamond Mickey Mouse ring.
