Thirst Relief International, who provide safe, clean drinking water to those in need around the world, in association with
ShootQ, had their annual Photographer's Mentor Auction earlier this February. Its an awesome event where extremely talented photographers auction off their time, talent, and expertise to bidders hungry for some learnin.
(and, of course all proceeds go to Thirst Relief)We were somehow lucky enough to win time with the extraordinarily talented, Arizona-based couple, Matt and Angie Sloan of
Sloan Photographers.
They came down to Orange County to spend a few hours with us. (They supposedly had a "shoot" or something, but we know it was solely for the purpose of hanging out with the Greens)
We went over everything from marketing to shooting, to workflow, to communicating with your partner
(like never ever call your partner a brat in the middle of a shoot!).
We even took some time to shoot with the Sloans. (Remember M and B from the
Love Bird Wedding?) Here are a few of our favorite shots!
