We are so grateful for these last images. Anyone who knows our Buster, knows he loved to run and play. And no matter how hard we tried to block up his "escape" routes to the front yard he just kept digging under the fence to play out there. He liked getting out, but he loved being with us as much as we loved being with him. On January 3rd, he dug out again and was hit by a car. Kara found out from one of our neighbors and called us. We found him and rushed to the vet, but he was gone by the time we got there. We were able to hold him in the car, call his name and he looked up one last time to see his friends. It was a horrible day, but we have been truly touched by the outpouring of love from family and friends. He was more than just a family pet. If you follow us on twitter or on facebook, you'll know he's our friend, Paige's shadow and my buddy.
Thank you, Kara, for these images. Truly.

This video was shot about 4 months ago. I was playing with Blake's new camera. Its the best video we have of Buster. I can't get over what an incredibly awesome, adorable, and loving puppy he was... I miss you, my little love.

Hey P&B,
ReplyDeleteWe're sorry for your loss. I want you to know that my wife cried when she found out, and I'm not exaggerating. She cried. Partly because she loves dogs and mostly because of prego hormones. It's so great that you have these great images and video. Keep rockin.

Heavenly Father is taking care of him Paige! He is SO happy with his new family, and he is going to come running when you come home. I promise. It is such a blessing to have the photos and the video to remember him by! I love you!
