I love working with talented people! But working with talented AND awesome people is just about the best.
Sylvanda (the *beauty* bride pictured below) was amazing. I am just about dying to photograph her again. She is gorgeous, funny, easy to lead and totally fits anywhere!
The fantabulous bouquet she is carrying is another masterpiece created by Design Whimsy (seriously awesome stuff) and her lovely purple, feather hair piece was created by Maxine In Trousers. (OK, people, if you don't shop on ETSY its time to get -a- purchasing) Anyway, we took the beautiful Sylvanda to Downtown Disney for the shoot. The atmosphere could not have been better. Little ones passing by kept jumping up and down and stage whispering: "look, mommy, a Princess!!!!". I'm sure the gorgeous dress and lovely Sylvanda would be enough to incite young girls to scream "PRINCESS!" but in addition to that, Disney was promoting their new movie, "The Princess and the Frog"
which the Heroin is not only Disney's first AMERICAN princess, but she is also Disney's first princess of African decent. . . needless to say Sylvanda didn't stand a chance against the gawks and glee of the young children passing us in Downtown Disney. This shoot was basically made of awesome:
Rockin the Fisheye and the dream dress.
Are you kidding me? Beauty-FULL!!!
Design Whimsy’s work of art.
The B&W close up smile…lovely.
Texture-izing it up!
I love this image. She looks so naturally beautiful.
My second favorite, because, seriously: just look at her!
Check out the shoes! I LOVE colorful shoes.
speaking of shoes…
Blake’s favorite! So fun to shoot.
You gotta utilize those stars!
This is *beauty*.
ok, so I’m totally torn between this image…
… and this one! I cannot decide which one is my favorite!
Like the one before, I adore the lines in this image.
Blake and his Lensbaby, blowing my mind.
Another huge "thank you" to the talented artists we were able to work with and to Sylvanda for being her beautimus-lovely self. You guys rock, and we're better for having worked with you.
