Denise and Shaun | Wayfarers Chapel Wedding | Backyard Reception

Thursday, November 21, 2013

Denise and I met when we were in 7th grade. We were kind of awkward  and rocked bangs, so of course we were friends.
Throughout high school we passed notebooks back and forth with VeggieTales songs and other notes inside and were just generally silly.

We kept in touch via Facebook and I was so happy and just honored when she asked us to capture her wedding day. Then she described her vision of her nuptials, I was that much more excited!

Lovely and Romantic with the Ceremony at the Wayfarer's Chapel and a backyard reception, Denise and Shaun's wedding was one our favorite weddings this year.

Denise & Zach | Exit | Attendants | Romantics | Newport Beach Temple

Monday, October 08, 2012

Denise and Zach were sealed in the Newport Beach LDS Temple on a perfect day.
They had friends and family all around them (very sharply dressed, I might add). The love and joy was all around that day.

On a personal note, as if we didn't feel old enough, Blake actually used to teach Denise Sunday school when she was youth at church.

It really was a special day all around.

Sara and Victor | Reception | Brea Community Center | Brea, CA

Receptions are generally a just awesome parties.
Toasts and traditions are just buffers in between the party time.

Not so with Sarah and Victor.
Every toast, every dance, every moment was full of emotion and importance.

Loved loved loved this.

Sarah chose to have a dance between her mother and herself.
It was beautiful and amazing.

How are these little brownie bites, so crunchy on the outside, and so moist on the inside, better than anything I could ever cook up in my kitchen?
