Before we get to the meat of the post, I'd like to apologize for not posting this last night, but the winner of their very own Starbucks card is: The Pitts! (that's the only name we have for her so far!) [*edit* : its actually The Pinnts...I'm just lame and can't read...its hard for some people!] who left the comment- "I love vanilla, so give me a grande Iced Vanilla Latte and I'm a happy girl. Coffee Bean and Tea leafs Ice Blended Vanilla is actually my favoritest in the whole wide world."
There's a Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf right behind our house, so we'll definitely have to try that out! (plus, we think vanilla doesn't get enough credit. its a great flavor all by itself!)
So, congratulations Pitts, and please contact us ASAP with your name and mailing address so we can get your card to you soon!
Ok, on to the shoot!
I was going to blog this last week... then Buster dragged me down a hill and I had a busted ankle and was in a vicodin coma for about 3 days, but I'm fully functional now (mostly) so here we go:
The beautiful Amy was our model in this Down Town Fullerton shoot. I'm pretty sure my favorite part of her ensemble was the totally awesome lace, fabric, and bead bouquet made by Amanda of Design Whimsy (She not only creates beautiful non-floral bouquets, but also corsages, boutonnieres and a variety of other lovelies). Amy was also sporting an amazing bandeaux created by Fabledreams (she has some AMAZING pieces!). Half way through the shoot, though, Amy's true colors began to shine and she traded the heels and bandeaux for a pair of boots and a cowboy hat! Check it out:

Stunning smile.
While we were shooting this, an old lady walked by and said “oh, now don't let them put you in jail!” hahahaha!
* sweet *
Things got a little ca-raze-ay! Really though, this was one of the funnest shoots we've done-to date!
As we were shooting at this location, cars and trucks full of very enthusiastic admirers were honking and shouting at Amy... it was quite hilarious.
This one is my ABSOLUTE favorite of the day! Captured by Blake and Rocked out by Amy, I personally think its made of awesome.
Thanks so much to Amy and to Fabledreams and Design Whimsy! (who created another bouquet for us. a little purple and cream number for the shoot I'll be posting some time next week...). This is also the shoot where I discovered my new love: Starbucks' Blended Strawberry lemonade... * Homer Simpson drool *.
Holy cow! I L-O-V-E that bouquet! What a cute session!!
ReplyDeleteI could totally be Pitts... if someone else does not claim it, jk ;) Oh and coffee bean is totally my favorite, so I think since you have yet to try it, we should get together sometime soon and hang out... maybe with some coffee bean in the picture :) Love the photos :) They are so fun! Great job!!!
